I wanted to write a little about the interview with Bob Ward from Fox 25 out of Boston. He and a camera woman spent about 3 1/2 hours with Ann, Janet and I. They were very kind and sensitive to the topic we had to speak about. All went well. Ann spoke first, then me and lastly Janet. Janet did very well. She was worried that she wouldn’t be able to speak and would break down and cry. Each of us were interviewed individually. They took film of old family pictures to flash while Bob speaks on the broadcast.
Ann’s friend Charlie was there, and all of us kept shooing the cat away so it wouldn’t jump on someone’s lap while they were being interviewed. I think the cat was excited about all the company and wanted to be on TV.
Some filming will be done in Franklin and it will be combined with our interview. I can’t imagine how they will break it all down into a five minute broadcast.
All three of us were exhausted after the interview. Emotionally we were drained….
For all of us that don’t get Fox 25, the site to go to on May 16th at 10:30 pm is: www.myfoxboston.com
