Ann, Janet, Charlie and Theresa past out flyer’s this past weekend to get out the word VIGIL being held on July 11th, 2009. They hit the pavement for hours, passing out the flyer’s and leaving as many as they could on cars. They also used the business type card that the family had made. Kathy’s picture is on the front and back of the card, the date she was murdered and also the toll free number to Shamshak’s Private Investigation Services. We have found this to be a very effective tool because of its size, fitting into anyone’s wallet. The fact that it also contains Kathy’s website allows the receiver to stay up to date on the case and what is happening. It also allows them to stay in touch and blog. Good work everyone, I wished I could have been there. Next time! None of them let getting kicked out of a few parking lots discourage them…. They worked around whatever obstacle was there. One key they told me was to start at the back of a parking lot instead of the front. 🙂

Ha! I was wondering if they would have any problems with the parking lots. I guess that answers my question. I’m glad they were able to get the word out. Can you believe Rachel got one on her car?! 🙂

Tina said that her and Penny saw one on the ground when they were walking. Not where you want them but there weren’t a lot of reports of them being on the ground. For passing out 1200 of them I guess your bound to get some of that.
